Save the Date EnerGIS 2025, September 18th
Congratulations to Joece Lynn, winner of the 2024-2025 EnerGIS Scholarship.
Joece's project:
"Detecting Invasive Species with Drone Mounted Multispectral Sensors: Japanese Barberry in Pennsylvania Deciduous Forests" was selected as the winner of this year's competition.
Joece will be presenting an update of her work at the 2025 conference.
Joece will receive another $3000 in 2025 based upon maintenance of her college enrollment and QPA.

Congratulations to Emma Gray, winner of the 2023-2024 EnerGIS Scholarship.
Emma's project:
"Land use land cover change of Barbour, Boone, and Logan County, WV from 2005-2016: Surface coal mining intensity and area on lung and bronchial cancer incidence" was selected as the winner of this year's competition.
Emma updated 2024 EnerGIS attendees on her work at last year's conference.
Emma was awarded $3000 in 2023 and another $3000 was awarded in 2024 based upon maintenance of her college enrollment and QPA.
